Ingredients of Daal Chawal Sabji Roti

Daal Chawal Sabji Roti instructions
- Soak rice and daal for 25/30 minutes.
- In a pressure cooker add daal water salt and turmeric powder give 3 whistle lower the flame let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- When pressure release by it's own with hand blender electric or non blend the daal add water according to your requirement keep it on flame bring it to nice boil.
- For tempering in a wok add oil heat it add finely chopped garlic green chilli cumin mustard seeds asafoetida powder when splatter add curry leaves finely chopped tomatoes ginger cook till tomatoes tanders add dry masalas mix well add it into the boiling daal add tamrind paste stir well if you like sweet and like gujrati daal at this time can add 1 tbsp of jaggery and 1 tbsp of peanuts you can avoid it too let the daal simmer for 15/20 minutes in low flame daal is ready.
- Cook rice by adding double the water salt on high flame when 95% cooked add ghee cover the lid for five minutes cook in low flame switch off the flame rice is ready.
- For vegetable chop potato and bottle gourd in medium dices add oil in a wok on medium flame add cumin seeds and asafoetida powder.
- Add chopped vegetables.
- Stir it occasionally after 5 minutes add salt and turmeric powder mix well cover the lid and let it cook on low flame in between mix occasionally check the potato by pressing if it's tender it's cooked now add dry masalas along with dry màngo powder stir well take out in serving bowl garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve with chappti buttermilk and salad complete healthy lunch is ready😊.
