Ingredients of Carrot oats mix dhokla

  1. It’s 2 cup of grated carrot.
  2. It’s 1 cup of besan / gram flour.
  3. It’s 2 tablespoon of sugar.
  4. Prepare 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder.
  5. Prepare 75 gms of Oats.
  6. Make ready 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  7. Prepare as per taste of Salt.
  8. You need 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  9. It’s 3/4 tsp of baking soda.
  10. Prepare 3 of green chilli(opt).
  11. Make ready 100 gms of Curd.
  12. It’s of For tempering.
  13. Make ready 1 tsp of Mustard seeds.
  14. It’s Handful of curry patta / curry leaves.
  15. It’s 3 tablespoon of oil.

Add some water and prepare idli like batter.Take a vessel in which you want to make dhokla.With some carrots mixed into it, it gets a little colourful too.Served with green chutney, you get a nice contrast as well!

  1. To prepare this dhokla,take all the ingredients like besan,oats,and grated carrot..
  2. In a separate bowl beat the sour curd with besan,oats,and mix it well.and add baking soda to it.now add the mixture of grated carrot,then add salt and lime juice.and mix well and keep aside for 1 hrs..
  3. Next,add garlic and ginger paste,turmeric powder,sugar,mix thoroughly,till the dhokla batter is ready..
  4. Next pour the dhokla batter into a greased plate or container,and steam for around 20 min,till it's done.then remove and let it cool down for sometime. Once it's cooled down,cut the dhokla into small square pieces heat oil in a pan,over medium flame,crakel the mustard seeds,and curry pata,green chillies,and pour the tampering over the dhokla.garnish it with grated coconut. Dhokla is ready to serve with tea….
