Ingredients of Honey chilli potato
- Make ready 8 of big potato.
- Take 1 of Capsicum.
- Make ready 1 of Onion (optional).
- You need to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 2 tsp of red chilli sauce.
- You need 2 Tbsp of tomato ketchup.
- Prepare 1 tsp of soya sauce.
- You need 1 tsp of White fruit vinegar.
- Take 1 tsp of White Sesame seeds (safed til).
- Make ready 1 Tbsp of Honey.
- It’s 3 tsp of Corn flour.
- Make ready As needed of Oil.

Honey chilli potato step by step
- Chop capsicum and onion very fine. If you have hand chopper or electric chopper you can use that too for chopping veg..
- Cut the potatoes in rectangle shape just like you cut for french fries..
- Boil potato for like 5 min on high flame. Do not boil much.
- Strain out potato from water and spread it on a cloth to soak extra water..
- Take potato in vessel and cover it with corn flour or rice flour. Note: do not add water let it be dry.
- Now heat oil in pan. Add potato in batches as suits you to fry. Fry the potatoes at first time for like 8-10 min on medium flame. Do not fry much.Just when they are slight crunch from outside and cooked inside..
- Deep fry the potatoes for the second time till the potatoes are golden in colour..
- On the other side of gas put some oil in pan and add chopped capsicum and oinons..
- Add some salt and red chilli powder and saute the veg till they are cooked.
- Add red chilli sauce, tomoato ketchup, soya sauce, vinegar and mix it on low flame.
- Add little water and mix well..
- To 1 tsp of corn flour add water and make slurry..
- Add this slurry to sauce mix and cook on low flame till sauce thickens.
- After sauce thickens add honey.
- Add fried potatoes and mix it well..
- Serve it hot garnishing it with white sesame seeds..
