Ingredients of Amy's Lasagna

  1. It’s 1/2 lb of ground beef.
  2. It’s 1/2 lb of Italian sausage.
  3. It’s 1 of small package of sliced or diced pepperoni.
  4. It’s 12 of lasagna noodles (3 extra if any breakage).
  5. Prepare 1 jar of prego chunky garden spaghetti sauce.
  6. You need 1/2 jar of prego sausage spaghetti sauce.
  7. It’s 1-12 oz. of can manwich sauce.
  8. Make ready 1 of medium onion, diced.
  9. Prepare 1/2 of of green pepper, diced.
  10. It’s 1 tbsp of minced garlic or 2 cloves.
  11. You need 1 tbsp of onion powder.
  12. You need 3 tbsp of season salt.
  13. You need 1 tbsp of black pepper or to taste.
  14. Take 2 tbsp of olive oil.
  15. Take 1 (8 oz.) of package of shredded pepper jack cheese or 6 sandwich slices.
  16. Prepare 1 (4 oz.) of package of shredded parmesean cheese.
  17. You need 1 (8 oz.) of package of shredded Italian blend cheese.

This lasagna is the best lasagna I have ever had, sometimes I prefer this over a handmade/restaurant meat version.Full of rich flavor but totally guilt-free.Our lasagna layers ricotta, Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses and organic spinach between wide ribbons of house-made organic pasta, then covers it all with Amy's scratch-made tomato pasta sauce.Garden Vegetable Lasagna, Gluten Free Don't worry, we've got gluten free covered.

Amy's Lasagna step by step

  1. This recipe is very hearty, cheesy & meaty..
  2. Heat olive oil & place green peppers & onions. Cook for almost 10 minutes, then add garlic..
  3. After about 5 minutes add all meats. Cook until brown, then drain grease in a colander. When drain place back into pot..
  4. In mean time start boiling noodles as directed on package, then drain in colander..
  5. In a bowl, mix all sauces together. Then you're ready to assemble..
  6. Preheat oven to 400°..
  7. In a 13x9 in. pan place a little sauce in bottom of pan so noodles won't stick..
  8. Put down first layer of 3 noodles, then 1/2 meat mixture. Put 1/3 amt sauce on top, then 1/2 package of both Italian blend cheese & pepper jack. If you don't have shredded then save pepper jack for next layer..
  9. Repeat step #8, then put last layer of noodles on top. If you didn't have the shredded pepper jack, add the slices in this step..
  10. Pour rest of sauce on top & then all of parmesean cheese..
  11. Cover with foil & bake for 30 minutes. Then take off foil & bake for 10 more minutes..
  12. Serve with salad, garlic bread, or veggies..

It takes longer to make lasagna our way, but we think the taste is worth it.I love that I can relax knowing that my food is made from healthy ingredients.This is such a tasty meal, I wouldn't stop eating it if I had an unlimited supply.
